In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
This should excite every human being on earth because we are imperfect people seeking perfection. But there is something in this verse that does not only excite but empowers everyone who will decide to accept this truth by believing in Jesus and consequently receiving the abundance of His grace in their lives, this will enable the individual to live a life from perfection.
In Christ we are not forgiven according to the smallness of our sins nor the largeness of our remorse or tears, nor even the frequency of our confession as we so often think. Jesus gave us forgiveness once and for all many years ago and all we have to do is receive his free gift made available by the riches of His grace by believing he has done it completely and perfectly.
But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God
It does not matter how big or how small your sins are His grace is rich enough to take care of it. Infact Jesus is at this very moment seated in Heaven and he isn’t running around to look for forgiveness for your sins, he already took care of it when he shed his blood on the cross. All he requires of you is to believe in the sacrifice he made over 2000 years ago and sit down freely with him while you live your life here on earth.
The question after hearing this is always; How much more sin I’m I permitted to commit from now on? and my reply to that question is Why do you want to sin? and Why do you think after knowing and believing The Truth you would want to sin?
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh
What happens at salvation is much more than the confession you made, it is something SUPERnatural, its so much more than you can phantom or explain because the surgery and heart replacement took place without your knowledge or consciousness and all you can do is experience it in reality. Jesus took away your previous heart that craved sin the moment you received His life in you, he replaced it with a new heart that does not lust after sin.
But let’s be real your flesh might tempt you and you may fall sometimes but that moment is where your believe in His sacrifice will show because when you know he has taken care of every kind of sin, you will not beat yourself up but get up and say “Thank you God because the blood of Jesus has forgiven this sin as well”.
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the
gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
Then you can also confess “I am the righteousness of God in Christ” because that is who you are after salvation. Whenever you receive his grace you receive his gift of righteousness which justifies you to God always.
Jesus is grace and he is so rich in it that everyone on earth can take a part of it. After all the bible says ……My grace is made perfect in your weakness (2Cor 12:9)….. and also ….The Lamb of God (Jesus) takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29)…… that surely includes you and I.
God’s love and the Grace of Jesus will keep you from falling and free you from fear, guilt and condemnation.
